Recipe: S’mores Smoothie

Jump to recipe

Here is the recipe of the week: S’mores smoothie bowl! Last week, I asked for feedback on what you all wanted to have me make next and when I read s’mores smoothie in the comments I was SOLD!

This is a flavor combo I love, but have never tried to create in a smoothie form. Probably because creating marshmallow flavors can be kind of tricky. But, leave it to Amazon. I found this incredible Toonie Moonie Vanilla Marshmallow Creme  to swirl on the top and it is a dream.

For this recipe the base is a smooth chocolate flavor that really reminds me of a Wendy’s frosty. But, you can’t ever have too much chocolate in a s’more so I added Hu Kitchen Gems to the top, as well. Bring on all the chocolate!

Lastly, you need that crunchy graham aspect to the s’more. And, for this, I used buckwheat groats which are a high protein, whole grain, crunchy little nugget. They are wonderful on top of a smoothie bowl or a salad. Love these little groats so much and they do not get soggy when they are mixed into a frosty smoothie bowl.

This bowl is one of my favorite creations of all time. Marshmallow creme for breakfast? Absolutely, yes! Hope so much that you all enjoy this recipe as much as we all did. Also, just like last week, I saved the entire story of how this bowl is made up on my Instagram feed. These demo’s have been bringing me such joy lately and your feedback on the smoothies created keeps my mind wanting to come up with more fun combos for you!

I do my best to share all the smoothies that are made by you all, so make sure to tag me in them so I can see and share! xxoo

Happy Friday,

BB

  2. good morning! squash creates a super thick consistency in a smoothie and is a great veggie add that you don’t even know is there!
