Top 10 Food Products We LOVE!

While we have always loved to cook at home, during the pandemic, cooking was elevated to new heights in our house. I was constantly looking for recipes the family would love. Trying out new fruits, veggies, meats and fish. Researching new products that I hadn’t tried but wanted to. This is one of my favorite parts of the work I do. If I can find a great product that may replace a not so great product, its a win.

So, today, I am going to share my (as of this moment) list of our top 10, most purchased and beloved products. This list is ever evolving but these are items that we either have subscriptions to or will always have stocked on a shelf in our house.

1. Jennifer Fisher Spicy Salt

This salt is perfection in a jar. The blend of spice and salt goes on pretty much everything I make. From eggs to avocado, meats and veggies. There is nothing that this salt doesn’t touch and enhance the flavor. While the spicy blend if my number one, the universal salt is a very close second.

2. Pique Tea Sun Goddess Matcha

I have never been a matcha girl. I always wanted to be, but every time I tried it, it felt like I was drinking grass. My friend, Abbie, had been drinking Pique matcha in the morning and I decided to give it a shot. It is unlike any matcha I had ever tried! It is smooth, earthy and perfectly balanced. I love the steady energy that matcha provides vs. the fast and hard burst that I get from coffee. LOVE this tea.

3. Sea Tangle Kelp Noodles

These little noodles have been on rotation over here. They are incredible in stir fry dishes! Kelp noodles are made from sea vegetables, but don’t worry. They do not taste like the ocean at all! Also, kelp noodles contain trace minerals and iodine which are both beneficial to your body. Win/win!

4.Kiss my Keto: Peanut Butter + Chocolate Granola

I feel like a bit of a granola connoisseur. After eating granola for the last 7 years, we now know what we like. As a family, we lean towards a nut based granola for our smoothie toppings and oat based granola for cereal. Our trick: keep your granola in the refrigerator. The crunchy factor goes through the roof and we are into it. This granola tastes like a peanut butter cup. The crunch is incredible and our kids say it is their favorite. Which I agree with because we can’t keep it stocked. We fly through this granola and I don’t mind at all! Love the product and the company.

5.  4th and Heart Ghee Oil

We cook at high heat and I love the versatility of a pourable ghee oil. It is a great on veggies, roasted chicken and has a very high smoke point. We find this oil at our local Whole Foods, but it is also sold on Amazon. We keep this on the counter next to our salts and olive oil because it gets used daily.

6. Avaline Wine

This is my favorite, organic wine brand. As I have gotten older, wine impacts me after one glass. I get headaches and sleep awful. This wine doesn’t give me the same experience. It is delicious and I love knowing that I am not going to feel awful in the morning after enjoying some. My favorite is their red blend, but I am a red girl through and through.

7. Culina Plain + Simple

Let’s talk yogurt for a minute. My stomach is hit or miss on traditional dairy yogurt. Some days I feel fine on it and others I feel rough. I tend to like to know how I will feel after meals and have had the BEST experience eating Culina. Traditional dairy free yogurts that I tried were thin and lacked the thick, rich and tangy flavor I love. Then, I met Culina. It changed the game for me and now we keep 10-12 jars in the refrigerator. If you have any dairy sensitivities or just feel adventurous and like to try new things, this is for you!

8. Haven’s Kitchen Red Pepper Romesco

We are a sauce loving family and this romesco has taken the cake! It is the perfect romesco and requires no roasting of peppers or blending of ingredients. You just unscrew the cap and squeeze this magic onto any and everything. We love this on seafood (once its cooked), I add it to my salads as a thick dressing with some lemon juice, great on grilled meats and the perfect dip for roasted or raw veggies. It is sold at our neighborhood Whole Foods but you can also get it directly from them.

9. LMNT Electrolyte Packets

We live in Florida and spend a ton of time outdoors. We also exercise in a hot garage and I love my morning infared sauna sessions. Long story short: we lose a lot of water each day. These packets are incredible in your water and provide electrolytes, potassium and magnesium. Evan loves these added to club soda when we go out to dinner and I drink them mid-morning to make sure I replenish what I lost. There are tons of great brands out there and we have tried many. These are our go-to’s.

10. Once Again Creamy Sea Salt Caramel Cashew Butter

The love that we have for nut butter in our house runs very deep. Except for Michael who could give or take nut butters (even peanut butter!!!) I will never get it but thankfully the kids are on my page and adore a good, creamy nut butter. This one tastes like dessert- sweet caramel with a bit of sea salt. I can’t get enough of this and purchase 4 jars at a time. Literally can’t get enough. Try it if you love nut butters like we do!
