Recipe: Girl Scout Cookie Samoa Superfood Smoothie
It is safe to say that I saved the best for last. When I think of Girl Scout Cookies my mind goes to that Samoa. The gooey caramel, toasted coconut, chocolate and buttery cookie. Oh my. Too delicious.
This superfood version of the Samoa in the form of a smoothie tastes even better! I truly can’t get over how insanely good this one is. This is the best recipe for a smoothie that I have ever made- hands down!
It has all the key players- but is a treat that you can feel good about drinking! You will love this one, I promise.
Samoa Superfood Smoothie
- 1 ½ cup Nut Milk
- 2 Medjool Dates, soaked in hot water 10 minutes (discard the liquid)
- ½ Tbsp. Coconut Butter
- 1 Tbsp. Raw Cacao Powder
- 1 Tbsp. Gluten Free Oats
- 1 Banana, frozen
- Pink Salt, to taste
- 4-5 ice cubes
- Toasted Coconut and Agave- for garnish
Directions: Blend in a high speed blender. Dip rim of glass in agave and rim in the toasted coconut.
Enjoy this one- it will make your taste buds and tummy happy 😉 It has been fun creating superfood versions of my three favorite cookies: Thin Mint Superfood Smoothie, Tagalong Superfood Smoothie and now this one. Love recreating classics in a clean, healthy way!
Have a great day!
xx
Wow- you’re favorite smoothie to date- that is saying a lot- I must try it!
You will love it- and so will the kiddos! Ours fight over who gets the next sip!
Nice recipe, Brooke, thanks! I never heard of samoa. I should do some research on it 🙂
It is a girl scout cookie that I turned into a smoothie- it is so good! Let me know what you think if you give it a try!
