Whole30: Week 1

Happy New Year and Friday! Here we are on day 4 of the Whole30 and had every intention of posting this days ago. Better late than never, but apologies for the delay. Here is our menu for week 1 on the W30:

The meals have been excellent and the time is flying by this round. An important note: smoothies are discouraged on the Whole30, as they do not recommend drinking a meal. However, we have found over the last three rounds that smoothies really help to keep our mornings more stress free. We do limit the fruit to 1/2 a cup and add plenty of veggies and healthy fats. This is a personal choice, and if you are able to prepare a breakfast to sit down with, definitely go that route!

Also, I had the honor and privilege of being asked to share any tips we have learned over the last few rounds with Good Morning America. The story was shared on Wednesday and you may find it helpful if you are navigating the Whole30 and need some hand holding. It can feel foreign at first and I am here to answer any questions that you all have.

Top 10 Tips to Navigate Your Whole30 Without Crashing and Burning

Have a great weekend, friends!

Hi there! I remember watching someone’s story – think it was yours, where you made a dip for chicken with tahini sauce? I have been searching high and low for it, and thought I should email! I know I saw it on Instagram somewhere! ❤️

  2. Hey Kelsey! Hope you are well! I do not think that was mine… I have made a turmeric tahini sauce before, but not sure if that is the one that you are thinking of!
