recipe: brownie batter smoothie

Jump to recipe

Happy Saturday morning! I hope that you all are having a beautiful day so far. It is a sunny day in Florida and we just decided to decorate a Christmas tree! Michael is out for the day at a golf tournament and the kids and I were thinking of fun things we can do at the house and they suggested getting Christmas ready. Before we decorated the tree, I knew I needed a fabulous smoothie to sip. The creation: a brownie batter smoothie!

This is a pretty simple recipe and has 32 grams of protein in it. The best part is that it truly tastes like rich, chocolate brownie batter. Which, in my opinion is second only to the crunchy edge pieces. All the cacao flavor comes in from the Philosophie Superfoods: Cacao Magic. This blend has been on repeat in my vitamix lately.

I have been adding a little extra protein in my smoothies lately with all the Peloton rides. I have been asked SO many questions about Peloton- I am a devoted fan and can’t say enough good things about it!

Do you want me to write a post dedicated to my love for Peloton? If so, put your questions in the comments below and I will create something for ya!

Now, onto the end all, be all brownie batter smoothie recipe!

This smoothie was fun to sip while the kids got excited about every single ornament they found. I swear, having children has given me this gift of seeing joy in every. single. moment. I wonder when I stopped looking for it myself- but am incredibly grateful for my two angels who help me  stop and smell the roses. It has been a blessing of a morning- great sweat, superfood smoothies that taste like dessert and quality time with the family.

I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend that is full of things that bring a big smile to your face.

xx

  1. I would love for you to do a Peloton post! I bought a Peloton about 2 months ago and am loving it. I would love to know how often you do classes. This is probably my biggest question for you. I would love to do this 5 times a week but am not sure if that is too much. Or if mixing up the classes changes the way your body responds so 5 would be ok? What else do you do during the week as far as exercise? Do you do any of the Beyond the Ride classes? What time of day is your favorite to take a class? Which classes are your favorite and why?
I love your photography and smoothie posts!
